Find your Omitly version and operating system

When you contact support, two details make it far quicker to help: your Omitly version and your operating system.

Your Omitly version

Open More ▾ → About Omitly… in Omitly. The version number is shown at the top, next to a short build identifier in parentheses (a git commit and date) — include that too if you have it, since two builds can share the same version number. Further down, a device fingerprint is shown; you only need that if you’re asked for it specifically (it matters for device-bound licences, not for support in general).

Your operating system

• macOS: open the Apple menu → About This Mac. Note the OS name and version (e.g. macOS 15.x) and the chip, which tells you whether you want the Apple silicon or the Intel build. Omitly runs on both, from macOS 11 up — see System requirements.
• Windows: open Settings → System → About, and note the Windows edition and version.

Why it’s asked

Behaviour can differ by version and OS, so these two facts let support reproduce what you’re seeing instead of guessing. Include both when you contact support.
